ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:

Lyle Divinsky: Lyle Divinsky, a.k.a. The Sasquatch of Soul, "doesn't front: he sings soul and R&B, and that's that. There are no tags or modifiers needed: his music is pure and honest. His focus is so spectacular that his originals sound like instant classics that might have had a life on 45s and crackly AM radio for decades," says Todd Richard from The Portland Phoenix. Hailing from Portland, ME, Divinsky moved to the Big Apple just over 3 years ago, and has been crooning his way into the hearts and hips of the five boroughs ever since. To quote NYC blogger/music aficionado, Sami Promisloff, "Lyle Divinsky is the minister of soul and master of babymaking music for ALL TIME... and scene."http://www.lyledivinsky.com/

Frances Cone: Hailing from the low-country of Charleston, SC to the Mississippi Delta, now Brooklyn-based Frances Cone, creates an indie pop that harkens back to old time folk and blues. With soulful, smoky vocals, and lyrics that both comfort and challenge, the band subverts tradition to live in a world of delicate sensibilities and mesmerizing heartbreak, reaching a place that sings you through the ups and the downs, remarking on the heavy while lightening the load. Fronted by Frances Cone, she is joined onstage by Owen Beverly, Ward Williams, Andrew Dougherty, and Benji Lee. Already acclaimed by the likes of Vanity Fair, American Songwriter, Paste and Brooklyn Vegan, their reach is proving far and wide, their authenticity and captivating melodies undeniable. http://www.musicboxmedia.com/francescone/francesconepress.html

Special Surprise Guest: This soulful crooner, who has sold out venues around the world and captivated festival goers at SXSW, Coachella and Bonnaroo, has earned praise from USA Today and the New York Times, and comparisons to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Donnie Hathaway.
