Having played to two sold-out houses and attracted industry interest, How Jerry Herman Got Me Through Analysis, which stars and is co-written by Eyal Sherf, will play a third performance at Don't Tell Mama in Manhattan on November 4.

Directed by stage and screen luminary Austin Pendleton, this performance will be open to both industry and general public.

How Jerry Herman Got Me Through Analysis is described as a real-time therapy session infused by the music and lyrics of legendary songwriter Jerry Herman. In the course of the "session", Sherf (Luft Gangster; the Drama Desk nominated The Pirates of Penzance) and "therapist"-at-piano Stephen Borsuk draw from the vast catalogue of the Kennedy Center Honoree to illuminate highs, low and (hopefully!) breakthroughs in the session. Inspiration is drawn from both hits such as Hello Dolly, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles, as well as lesser known material (yet proving just as "helpful"!).

Borsuk is also the musical director of the show. Parody lyrics were written by Matthew Hardy.

Don't Tell Mama is located at 343 W 46th Street. There is an $8 cover charge for the show along with a two drink minimum. Reservations can be made here - http://www.donttellmamanyc.com/shows?task=view_event&event_id=728. Tickets may also be reserved by calling 212-757-0788 after 4PM.
