Atlas Music Publishing is pleased to announce a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing and creative advisor agreement with Grammy winner and hit song-writer, Toby Gad. Gad received his first #1 US hit single in 2006 with Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry," and hasn't left the top of the charts since. He went on to co-write and produce Beyonce's hit "If I Were a Boy" which led to his first Grammy win. Since then, the prolific Gad has written and had hits with Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys, Robin Thicke, One Direction, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Colbie Caillat, John Legend, Demi Lovato and many more.
"My experience with Rich goes back to my first publishing deal in America with Cherry Lane. Under that deal I produced my song 'If I Were A Boy' for Beyonce. When Rich reached out to me and said he was starting a new publishing venture and wanted me as his first signing, I was both flattered and receptive. To me a publisher is the first set of ears that gives me instant feedback on songs, my partner in crime when it comes to plotting new collaborations, and my treasure hunter when it comes to pitching songs I can't even remember I wrote. I'm delighted to be working with Rich again and I am looking forward to a productive and exciting new chapter in my career with a team that has believed in me very early on." In announcing the deal, Richard Stumpf, CEO of Atlas remarked, "Toby is one of the most talented and focused writer / producers I've ever worked with. There's nothing he can't do and there's nobody who is more passionate than Toby. Watching him grow into a major 'A lister' since we first starting working together back in 03 has been a complete pleasure. It is an honor to have Toby on the Atlas team as both a writer and creative advisor. I'm also very excited to be working with the DAS team once again."Videos
