Has starring in Wicked always been your dream? Well this could come true because Wicked is holding open calls for the next Elphaba Understudy!

Equity and non-Equity performers are welcome to attend the auditions on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 2 to 4pm. Sign in will begin promptly at 1:30pm. Hopefuls should prepare Wicked's famous song, "The Wizard and I" from bar 117 to the end of the song. A piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.

The WICKED casting call is looking for:

Female, to play 20s, any ethnicity. Needs a powerhouse, thrilling high-belt singing voice, acting chops, and dancing and partnering ability. Must be capable of carrying a big show. Must be vocally sturdy. To appear in the onstage ensemble and understudy the starring role of ELPHABA (The "wicked" witch. Born with emerald-green skin, she has had a rough childhood and is an outcast from the beginning. Smart, fiery, emotionally armored, sensitive, passionate, misunderstood, sincere, has potent inner beauty, rallies for the underdog, has great talent for sorcery).
