Vivien On The Rocks, a solo show inspired by the divorce between Vivien Merchant and Harold Pinter, performs at The Studio Theater @ Theater Row (410 W 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th avenues) beginning on September 5th at 8 pm, and will run through September 8th at 3 pm. The play is written and performed by Adriana Jones, directed by Daniel Roberts, and co-produced by Andrew Dahreddine and Adriana Jones.

In the show, Vivien Merchant, celebrated actress and first wife of Harold Pinter, is tired of being a footnote in her ex-husband's various obituaries. So, she is back from the dead to tell her story on her own terms in this vividly imagined solo show.

Originally conceived as part of a workshop with solo performance veteran Keira McDonald in Seattle, Washington, Vivien On The Rocks made its New York debut as part of the Women at Work Festival at Stage Left Studio in October 2012. Newly expanded, Vivien On The Rocks returns to the New York stage with a haunting blend of passion, vulnerability, and wry humor that is not to be missed.

Tickets are $17.50, and are available at the Theatre Row Box Office or online. Advance tickets and other information can be found at www.theatrerow.org/thestudio.htm. Performance times are September 5-7 at 8 pm and September 8th at 3 pm. Discounts are available for students (with valid ID) and groups of 8 or more. To inquire about discounts, please contact Telecharge or the Theater Row box office.
