ABC to Air BLADES OF GLORY, 1/28

BLADES OF GLORY, starring Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett and Jon Heder, airs as the "ABC Saturday Movie of the Week," JANUARY 28 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. The film will be broadcast in HDTV format with 5.1-channel surround sound. 

When two professional men's figure skating competitors, Chazz Michael Michaels (Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Heder), are banned from the sport after fighting with each other, they realize that the only way for them to continue with their passion is to re-enter the competition three years later as a doubles team. The two former rivals must work through their past differences and difficult routine to beat their newest rival competitors, the brother and sister team of Stranz Van Waldenberg (Arnett) and Fairchild Van Waldenberg (Poehler).

The film stars Will Ferrell as Chazz Michael Michaels, Jon Heder as Jimmy MacElroy, Will Arnett as Stranz Van Waldenberg, Amy Poehler as Fairchild Van Waldenberg, Jenna Fischer as Katie Van Waldenberg, William Fichtner as Darren MacElroy, Craig T. Nelson as Coach, Romany Malco as Jesse, Nick Swardson as Hector, Scott Hamilton as Sports Anchor, Greg Lindsay as Mountie and Andy Richert as Mountie.

"Blades of Glory" is produced by Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld and John Jacobs for MTV Films, DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures. The 2007 film was directed by Josh Gordon & Will Speck, written by Jeff Cox, Craig Cox & Busy Phillipps, with screenplay by Jeff Cox & Craig Cox and Jon Alschuler & Dave Krinsky.
