Between the Seas Festival is inviting submissions to its 2014 edition that is scheduled from July 21st to the 27th at the Wild Project.

Between the Seas has established itself as the city's only festival with a focus on contemporary, cutting-edge Mediterranean performance. Past participants have included NYC-based and international choreographers such as: Ido Tadmor, Pedro Goucha, Korhan Basaran, Tami Stronach, Vanessa Tamburi, Noa Dar, Guido Tuveri, Rebeca Tomas; musicians such as Malika Zarra, Anna Tonna, Andreas Arnold; and theatre performances from Greece (Kanigunda company); Israel (Arab-Hebrew theater of Jaffa) and more.

The deadline for submissions is February 10th and the organizers are looking for full and short length works, fully developed or works in progress, original or previously presented, in the fields of theater, dance and music by artists of the Mediterranean and Mediterranean diaspora as well as artists of any background who have an interest in the region.
