Today, Universal Pictures revealed the title of the highly-anticipated sequel to JURASSIC WORLD. The film will be called JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM. Check out just-released teaser art at left! The film hits theaters one year from today, June 22, 2018.

The upcoming sequel will see the return of stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with new cast members Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith and Rafe Spall. Jeff Goldblum will also reprise his iconic role as Ian Malcolm. Directed by J.A. Bayona from a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, the film will be produced by Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg.

In a recent interview with Comingsoon.net, Bayona shared, "Every story is different and you need to find the depth of every story and try to express it on the screen. The 'Jurassic World' sequel is a more collaborative filmmaker experience, not only with Colin Trevorrow, but also with Steven [Spielberg] and with Frank Marshall. It's their baby as much as it is mine. It's about sharing views and working together to bring the story to life. But, at the same time, the way I face telling a story is to find something very personal. I think there will be plenty of myself also in the film."
