MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla., May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ "THINK SKINNY, FEEL FIT: 7 Steps to Transform Your Emotional Weight and Have an Awesome Life" by Alejandro Chabn will be released June 6 by Atria Books and will be simultaneously published in Spanish under the title "DIME QU COMES, Y TE DIR QU SIENTES." This is the second book by Chabn, a motivational speaker, certified nutrition and wellness consultant, and one of the most popular Hispanic celebrities in the entertainment business. "THINK SKINNY, FEEL FIT" is Chabn's first book to be published in the English language.

"Inspiring others to transform their lives is my passion," said Chabn. "I am so excited to share the knowledge and steps that helped me overcome the physical and emotional difficulties of childhood obesity."

Before he became a health and wellness icon and one of the most trusted Hispanic celebrities, Chabn had an unhealthy relationship with food and a poor self-image. He suffered from obesity as a child which made him the target of ruthless bullying. Subsequently, he fell victim to anorexia and bulimia as a teenager. But even after he lost 150 pounds, he realized his newfound physique did not bring him happiness. He was still weighed down by the same negative feelings that he had always associated with food. With this revelation came a life-altering shift in his mindset.

"Losing physical weight was only the first step on my journey," added Chabn. "Losing emotional weight is about healing from the inside out, and is much more challenging for most people."

In "THINK SKINNY, FEEL FIT" Chabn shares for the first time the seven steps that were essential in helping him master his mind in order to transform his body. Using personal anecdotes and examples, Alejandro explains in detail what it means to be emotionally overweight, how emotions and physical wellbeing are connected, and how best to identify the mental obstacles that weigh down your brain and body. These steps, grounded in positive thinking techniques, meditation, and self-acceptance and commitment, will help readers lead a happier, healthier life.

"THINK SKINNY, FEEL FIT" is available for purchase on Amazon.

About Alejandro Chaban

Alejandro Chaban is an author, motivational speaker, certified nutrition and wellness consultant, founder and CEO of Yes You Can!, the first and only lifestyle with a Latin flavor. He is a beloved figure in the Hispanic entertainment industry: a former cohost of Despierta Amrica (2015-2016), a spirited competitor on "Mira Quien Baila" (The "Dancing with the Stars" of the Spanish-speaking world), and one of People en Espaol's 50 Most Beautiful People (2012 and 2015). He published his first book "De Gordo a Galn" ("From Fatty to Hottie") in 2010.
