Tonight the third musical in the Music Theatre Wichita season, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, was met with excitement and energy at Century II. The only people having more fun than the audience were the people on stage.

It's the summer of 1776, and the nation is ready to declare independence...if only our founding fathers can agree to do it! 1776 follows John Adams of Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania, and Richard Henry Lee and Thomas Jefferson of Virginia as they attempt to convince the members of the second Continental Congress to vote for independence from the shackles of the British monarchy by signing the Declaration of Independence.

The Barn Kids, grades 3-7, will present the Disney classic CINDERELLA-KIDS the evenings of June 17th, 18th and 19th at the Barn Players Theatre, 6219 Martway in Mission; curtain at 7:30 p.m. The production follows the first of two summer theatre workshops for the youngsters where they learn about theatre and stage presentations.
