RE:ENCHANT - Poetic Experiments For A New World Live literature every third Sunday Sunday 15 June - 5:00pm PETER MARINKER Peter Marinker is a London-based actor well known for his work on BBC Radio, and his association with publisher John Calder and the works of Samuel Beckett, who writes poems exploring memory, environmental destruction and hope. Nancy Charley is an activist and archivist, and author of the collections Grace Notes, Little Blue Hut, and How Death Came Into the World. She lives in Ashford, Kent, where you’ll find her squirrelled away in a wooden shed writing and crafting. She'll be performing Unfinished Building - a series of poems which track the trials and tribulations of falling in love with an illegal immigrant. Plus, we've a tribute to American poet Fred Voss. Fred was an American poet of working-class life, who died this year, and who was described as the heir to Charles Bukowski and Robert Tressell.
