An evening of monologues and duets, presented by Shoreside Productions Stream of consciousness meets physical storytelling in this evening of new writing and choreography. Mirror Speeches invites artists from across disciplines to collaborate in bold, unpredictable ways. Each piece begins with an original monologue, selected through an open call by Shoreside Productions, and handed over to a choreographer to reimagine as a duet. Whether the words and movement are performed at the same time or in separate moments, each piece becomes a unique conversation between text and motion. Part theatre, part dance, entirely original, this is a space for creative risk-taking and artistic cross-pollination.
