The National Theatre is delighted to announce show titles for the third season of National Theatre Live (NT Live), a successful initiative to broadcast live performances from the National's stages to cinemas worldwide. Since its first season, which began in June 2009 with the acclaimed production of Phédre starring Helen Mirren, over half a million people have now experienced the National's acclaimed work on movie screens around the world.

David Sabel, The National Theatre's Head of Digital Media, says: ‘It is thrilling to think that over half a million people worldwide have now seen a National Theatre Live broadcast. The programme has grown significantly, giving an ever-widening audience an unprecedented opportunity to engage with our work.'

Season three titles include: One Man, Two Guvnors, The Kitchen, Collaborators, The Comedy of Errors. Exhibition dates and cinema locations are available at www.ntlive.com. These live performances will be broadcast from The National Theatre in London.

Additional titles for 2012 will be announced soon.

SEPTEMBER 15, 2011
Nicholas Hytner's sold-out, five star production of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, by Richard Bean based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, with songs by Grant Olding. James Corden stars in ‘one of the funniest productions in the National's history' (The Guardian), returning to the National for the first time since he premiered in the original cast of The History Boys. The ‘classic comedy, hilariously updated' (The Times) transfers to London's West End in November.

OCTOBER 6, 2011
Arnold Wesker's extraordinary black comedy THE KITCHEN, set in a restaurant in 1950s London, directed by Bijan Sheibani, featuring an ensemble cast of 29 actors.

DECEMBER 1, 2011
COLLABORATORS, a new play by John Hodge (screenwriter of Trainspotting, Shallow Grave, The Beach) directed by Nicholas Hytner. The play centers on an imaginary encounter between Joseph Stalin and the playwright Mikhail Bulgakov. Alex Jennings will play Bulgakov and Simon Russell Beale will play Stalin.

MARCH 1, 2012
Also in the new season will be Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS directed by Dominic Cooke (artistic director of London's Royal Court Theatre), starring the hugely popular comedian and actor Lenny Henry making his NT debut.
