Beginning September 24, the smash hit new production of the legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound of Music at the London Palladium, introduces four new cast members to the company.  Fiona Sinnott will play The Baroness, Paul Grunert assumes the role of Max, Amy Lennox will portray Liesl and Luke Fredericks as Rolf.

Connie Fisher will continue to star as Maria for six performances a week, with Aoife Mulholland playing the role on Monday evenings and Wednesday matinees.

Fiona Sinnott played Betty Schaefer in the Adelphi Theatre production of Sunset Boulevard, and her regional productions include starring in Guys and Dolls, Aspects of Love and Les Miserables. Paul Grunert has appeared in the West End productions of Acorn Antiques, Anything Goes and Me and My Girl. Amy Lennox and Luke Fredericks will both be making their West End stage debuts in. Both have appeared widely in regional productions and in tours.

The Sound of Music has music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, with a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by "The Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp.

The Sound of Music is directed by Jeremy Sams, with choreography by Arlene Phillips, design by Robert Jones, sound by Mick Potter, lighting by Mark Henderson and musical supervision by Simon Lee.

The Sound of Music is booking until March 29, 2008.  Performance times at the London Palladium are at 7:30PM on Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays, with Tuesday performances at 7PM, and Wednesday and Saturday matinees at 2:30PM.  Tickets, priced from £25.00 - £55.00 including all booking fees, are available from the London Palladium Box Office on 0870 890 1108 or at www.soundofmusiclondon.com
