Simon Greiff (of SimG Productions), in association with 'Live At The Hippodrome', is very proud
to present an exciting, intimate evening of live music celebrating the glorious songs of American
composers Scott Evan Davis, Georgia Stitt and Michael Patrick Walker - together described in
The Huffington Post as 'today's must-know songwriters'.

After SimG's two previous sold out Composer evenings celebrating British musical theatre
writers (including Drama Desk winner Grant Olding, Dougal Irvine, Brunger & Cleary, Tim
Sutton, Joe Sterling, Chris Passey, Lindsey Miller and Laurence Mark Wythe), Simon Greiff felt
his next London presentation of new musical theatre writing should introduce fresh American
talent to a British audience. When he came across an article by David Finkle in The Huffington
Post that highlighted six flourishing (yet still relatively unknown) American composers, he
decided to present a trio of them in London's newest performance space - the Matcham Room
at the iconic Hippodrome.

Scott Evan Davis is an actor-turned-songwriter, who has recently received a great deal of attention in the USA, following concerts of his work at venues in the nation's major cities, including the prestigious Birdland and Don't Tell Mama's in New York. His debut album Cautiously Optimistic, featuring a wealth of Broadway vocal talent, was described by CDBaby as "poignant, funny and heart-warming". A staged Revue of his work Picture Perfect is scheduled in New York next fall, and Powerful Day recently won the MTI 'Courage in Theatre' Award.

Georgia Stitt, described in The Examiner as "living, loving proof that musical theatre on the west coast is indeed alive, and thriving", is an award-winning composer, lyricist, music director and record producer. Her musical Big Red Sun won the Harold Arlen Award in 2005 and was a NAMT Festival winner in 2010, while The Water won the 2008 ANMT "Search for New Voices in American Musical Theater". The musical Mosaic (written by Ms Stitt and Cheri Steinkellner) ran Off-Broadway in 2010 and she has released two 'songs of' albums (This Ordinary Thursday and My Lifelong Love) featuring top Broadway performers.

Michael Patrick Walker is the co-composer/lyricist (with Gary Adler) of the Off-Broadway smash hit and Outer Critics Circle Award winning musical Altar Boyz which ran Off-Broadway for over 2,000 performances between 2005 and 2010. Hailed as a 'skilled songwriter' by the New York Times, Michael is the composer/lyricist of the upcoming musicals Dog And Pony and Being Theo and has also penned songs for the Disney TV Channel's Johnny And The Sprites and his debut album Out Of Context features some of Broadway's finest.

The evening will feature live performances by all three composers joined by a stellar West End cast including Lauren Samuels (We Will Rock You, Grease), Caroline Sheen (Les Miserables, Mary Poppins – Helen Hayes winner), Stuart Matthew Price (Mack & Mabel, Shrek) and Simon Thomas (Legally Blonde, Into The Woods) - in what will be a unique opportunity to hear original American musical theatre writing in London's West End!
