Charles Dance (Gosford Park, The Jewel in the Crown) stars as C.S. Lewis, Shadowlands, an intensely moving play which charts the extraordinary true love story between Lewis and Joy Gresham, played by award-winning actress Janie Dee (RSC, National Theatre).  Remaining performances are through December 15.

"Famous in his day as a scholar and broadcaster, Lewis is perhaps best known today as the author of the classic books The Chronicles of Narnia. A confirmed bachelor into his fifties, Lewis met and married this remarkable American woman known for her outspoken views and acerbic wit, and their astonishing story has become a testament to the unpredictable nature of love and its enduring legacy," explain press notes.

Winner of the Evening Standard Play of the Year Award and nominated for both Tony and Olivier Awards, Shadowlands was BAFTA Film of the Year.

Performances continue through December 15 at Wyndham's Theatre, Charing Cross Road, London WC2.  Show times are Monday - Saturday 7:30pm, Thursday & Saturday 2:30PM
