Today, the UK's finest multi-arts festival Latitude is delighted to announce the Literary Arena, Wellcome Trust Hub, and further Poetry names performing at this year's event, which takes place from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th July 2016 in the stunning grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk.

In the Literary Arena Will Hutton discusses the anxiety epidemic, and Ben MacIntyre shares the research behind A Spy Amongst Friends, the definitive biography of Kim Philby. The V&A presents a preview of upcoming exhibition You Say You Want a Revolution? Records and Rebels 1966-70, Historic Royal Palaces' Deirdre Murphy discusses fashion's tribes, Emily Mackay interviews Jamie McKelvie and Kieron Gillen about their acclaimed contemporary fantasy comic book series The Wicked & The Divine, and Ewen MacAskill talks secrets, lies and Edward Snowden.

Robin Ince presents The Magick of Art - The Wizardry of Thin White Dukes with Daisy Campbell, Andrew O'Neill and John Constable, a discussion of David Bowie's final piece of work; Sara Pascoe shares her debut book Animal: How a Woman is Made; Mark Watson showcases his latest thriller The Place That Didn't Exist; and David Quantick, in conversation with Sarfraz Manzoor, presents his new novel The Mule. Madeleine Shaw showcases debut healthy cookbook Get the Glow! and Helen Pearson presents The Life Project. Standard Issue writers discuss comedy and feminism, and the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction comes to the festival for the first time, with Kate Mosse hosting events including a Forgotten Authors panel.

Ruth and Martin's Album Club sees an invited guest choose an album they've never listened to, Viv Groskop brings her hilarious new examination of class, Be More Margo, and the Wellcome Trust supports a series of talks - including The Idiot Brain author Dr Dean Burnett in converation with Robin Ince - and Salon London events. The Porn Perspective panel explores our consumption of pornography, Ed Halliwell introduces his book Into the Heart of Mindfulness: Finding a Way of Well-being, the Festival of Spoken Nerd mixes science with statistically significant comedy.

Scotland's national poet Jackie Kay joins the stellar line-up in the Poetry Arena, which also features Poet in the City, Dizraeli, Andy Bennett, Laura Mucha, Rosie Carrick, Jemima Foxtrot and Lisa Luxx. Home Live Art and Twice Shy Theatre appear in The Faraway Forest, and both The Reading Agency and Dylan's Mobile Bookstore return. The Shed of Stories includes a Commute Blog, contemporary theatre game Dis Place, Lisa Blower presenting her novel Sitting Ducks, and John Osborne performing from Birthdays.

Finally, following their performance in the Little House, the Young Vic presents a workshop with Gbolahan Obisesan, director of Cuttin' It, the incredibly emotive play from award-winning playwright Charlene James tackling the urgent issue of FGM in Britain. It's a piece that encourages the audience to look more closely at the lives of those around them and to raise awareness of a deeply affecting procedure, and the discussion and workshop offers a rare chance for the audience to engage directly with the theatre-maker.
