The cast has been revealed for I Wish My Life Were Like A Musical at Edinburgh’s iconic Gilded Balloon throughout August before heading to Wilton’s Music Hall in London for a limited season.


The cast are Jennifer Caldwell (Six The Musical), Sev Keoshgerian (Little Women), Rhidian Marc (Wicked) and Julie Yammanee (Bonnie and Clyde) and the show will open at The Gilded Balloon at The Museum on 3rd August.


Alexander S. Bermange’s wonderfully humorous depiction of the unseen world of musical theatre has been lauded with an unprecedented 35 five-star reviews for previous seasons. This definitive comedic musical revue reveals all there is to know about musical theatre, and the people who love it on both sides of the curtain. 
This year’s show now features three brand new songs, one of which, Superfan, will premiere at West End Live in Trafalgar Square on 17th June.

Jennifer Caldwell

Jennifer trained at the London School of Musical Theatre, and most recently played Anne Boleyn in Six the Musical (UK, Ireland & Korea Tour). Other credits include alternate Anne Boleyn & Katherine Howard in Six the Musical (UK & Ireland Tour), swing/cover Heather and Resident Director in American Idiot, (UK and Ireland Tour), swing/cover Emily in Knights of the Rose (Arts), Flick in The Rhythm Method workshop, (Bush and Landor Space), Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet (Indian Tour), cover Dyanneand Resident Director/Resident Choreographer in Million Dollar Quartet (UK and Ireland Tour), cover Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical (UK and Ireland Tour) and cover Sophie and Ali in Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales and Novello).

Sev Keoshgerian

Sev trained at Royal Academy of Music, before performing the lead role in Jack and the Beanstalk (Newbury Corn Exchange). His other credits include Brad in The Rocky Horror Show (European Tour), Little Women (Park), Little Miss Sunshine: A Road Musical (Arcola and UK Tour), and The Musical of Musicals (Above the Stag). Sev also recorded at Abbey Road studios in Buñuel In The Labrynth Of The Turtles.

Rhidian Marc

Rhidian trained at Central School and Speech and Drama. Credits include cover Wizard & Doctor Dillamond in Wicked (Apollo Victoria), Charles in Pippin (Southwark Playhouse & Hope Mill), Locke in Tiger Bay (Wales Millennium Centre), The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), cover Enjolras and Grantaire in Les Misérables (Queen's & UK tour), Scrooge (UK tour), The Great British Musicals (The Other Palace & London Hippodrome), Classic Brit Awards (Royal Albert Hall), and Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Rhidian’s screen credits include Les Miserables, Oh Na y Morgans and Jara (S4C).

Julie Yammanee

Julie is an Australian actress, who most recently appeared as Emma Parker in Bonnie and Clyde at The Garrick, West End. Further stage credits include Marie & Fairy Godmother in Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Hope Mill), Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel (Kilworth House), Emma Parker in Bonnie and Clyde in Concert (Royal Drury Lane), Gatsby (Southwark Playhouse); Spamilton (Menier Chocolate Factory), Lazarus (King's Cross) directed by Ivo van Hove, And The Winner Is (Vaults), Aladdin (Hackney Empire), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (UK & International Tour), Here Lies Love (National), and Avenue Q (UK Tour). Screen credits include Matilda (Netflix/Working Title), and A Christmas Story Christmas (Legendary/Warner Brothers HBO MAX). Julie performed in PLAYMOBIL Princess Academy, Secret Theatres’ Redemption Room, and the Clueless workshop. 

Alexander S. Bermange - Composer

Alexander is a composer and lyricist of sixteen musicals (including The Route To Happiness, Thirteen Days and multi-award-winning Shadowless) that have been produced in London, around the UK and internationally; music and songs for theatre productions such as Spitting Image Live at Birmingham Rep and its subsequent West End transfer, Plague Over England in the West End and the much-toured Murder On Air; and many comic songs for BBC Radio 4 and the BBC World Service. Alexander topped iTunes’s comedy album chart with Wit & Whimsy, an album celebrating his comedic work. 

Matthew Parker – Director and Choreographer

Matthew is an award-winning freelance theatre director and former Artistic Director of The Hope Theatre. Recent directing includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), Vinegar Tom (OVO Theatre), The Comedy of Errors and Henry V (Roman Theatre St Albans). Whilst at The Hope Theatre he directed ten productions and won the Best Artistic Director OFFIE Award. Matthew has received eight Best Director OFFIE Award nominations for his work and won Best Director of a Musical at the 2023 Awards for his direction of Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story (Jermyn Street Theatre). 

James Seabright – Producer

James won the Olivier Award for Best Entertainment as lead producer of Showstopper! the Improvised Musical in the West End. Thanks to The Showstoppers improvising a new show at every performance, he has premiered more West End musicals than any other producer! James’ other musical producing credits including the digital pandemic hit The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (filmed at Southwark Playhouse and now streaming on BroadwayHD), the world premiere of Liver Birds Flying Home (Royal Court Liverpool) and the London premiere of The Lion (St James Studio) which went on to win a Drama Desk Award for its off-Broadway season. Aside from musicals, James produces extensively in the UK including nine Edinburgh Fringe 2023 shows and the premiere tour of The Way Old Friends Do by Ian Hallard, directed by Mark Gatiss. Current international credits include the Las Vegas season of Potted Potter, which is celebrating four years on the Strip, and co-producing the North American premiere of Olivier Award winning Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) in Toronto.
