EDINBURGH 2022: Bella Hull Q&A

BWW catches up with Bella Hull to chat about bringing Babycakes to the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Tell us a bit about Babycakes.

It's a show about dating, growing up, and Argos catalogues packed with two things I'm very passionate about: jokes and other people's business. It's all of the material I'm proudest of since I started doing comedy 6 years ago and I hope there's something for everyone in it.

Do you know think you know what to expect from the Fringe?

I have no idea what to expect! I'm excited to be able to perform every day, develop at a really fast pace and watch all of my favourite performers do their amazing shows.

Where else might we know you from?

I've been on The Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2 and Stand Up For Live Comedy on BBC1. And I'm @bellabellahull on Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.

Who would you like to come and see Babycakes?

Anyone and everyone! Maybe Gemma Collins? She'd probably hate it.

What would you like audiences to take away from it?

I'd love them to feel warm and fuzzy. It's likely they'll feel warm anyway in a fringe venue in the middle of August. And if they could remember my name or even tell their friends, that would be amazing.
