Harriet Kemsley's new stand-up show about being a newlywed, dyspraxic, nut/fruit/veg allergy-suffering, vegan comedian is a delightful insight into the mind of a rising talent.

Harriet recently married fellow comedian Bobby Mair and she shares stories of their life together as well as anecdotes about her life before Bobby, including snogging people she shouldn't and an awkward trip to the chemist.

Harriet reveals things not everyone would be brave enough to; some audience members clearly identify with her embarrassing tales, but would never admit it. Her enormous smile and endearing personality mean the audience warms to her immediately and she can get away with some more shocking material. There is something so sweetly tragic about Kemsley that there's reason not to believe even her most ridiculous stories.

We learn about her recently diagnosed dyspraxia and she treats us to some gems from dyspraxia forums. After a quick test, one or two people in the audience are a little too keen to share their stories too, but Harriet handles this with charisma, never picking on or bullying her audience.

Not every joke lands, but there are plenty of laughs to be had in this frank exploration of modern day marriage and hidden disability. We leave with a sense that if Harriet can get through life with the amount of issues and strife she has to put up with, we can too. We hope you get through another year, Harriet!
