BroadwayWorld UK were lucky enough to go backstage and talk to Natalie Kassanga and Jay Perry about joining the smash hit musical Motown, currently playing at Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End. Watch the video interview below!
Motown tells the story of founder Berry Gordy, who discovered and launched the careers of artists like Diana Ross and The Supremes, Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Marvin Gaye and many more.
The show features 50 Motown hits, including "My Girl", "Dancing In The Street", "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "I Heard It Through The Grapevine".
Jay Perry has taken over the role of Berry Gordy, and Natalie Kassanga is the new Diana Ross. Both opened in the show in March 2018.
