AVENUE Q Confirms UK Tour; No Casting Announced Yet

After its last performance in London at the Wyndham's on 30th October and after a well-earned rest, Avenue Q will embark on a nationwide tour opening at the Theatre Royal, Bath in February 2011.

Tickets for the Theatre Royal Bath dates will go on sale 4th October, so call 01225 448844 or visit www.theatreroyal.org.uk - and other dates will be added as they are confirmed.

No casting has been announced yet despite rumours on Facebook that have not been officially confirmed.

Avenue Q ingeniously combines a cast of humans and puppets who tackle subjects such as dating, racism, internet porn, being gay and finding your purpose in life. The show has enjoyed enormous success, both on Broadway and in London, proving to be the perfect contemporary musical loved by everyone.

Avenue Q has music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, book by Jeff Whitty, based on an original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx; and directed by Jason Moore. The puppets are conceived and designed by Rick Lyon; musical supervision by Stephen Oremus, and choreography by Ken Roberson. Avenue Q's scenic design is by Anna Louizos, costume design by Mirena Rada, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and sound design by ACME Sound Partners. Avenue Q UK Tour is produced by Theatre Royal Bath Productions Ltd, by arrangement with Kevin McCollum, Robyn Goodman, Jeffrey Seller, Vineyard Theatre, The New Group and Cameron Mackintosh.
