Old Opera House to Present Family Musical Treat SEUSSICAL

By: Jun. 16, 2017
Charles Town Kiwani and Old Opera House Theatre Company will present the family musical treat SEUSSICAL, featuring music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and book by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty, co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Erik Idle, based on the works or Dr. Seuss.

Seussical is fun for the whole family! This fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza is now one of the most performed shows in the country. Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination - Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
