Apollo Theatre Holding Auditions for STEEL MAGNOLIAS; Auditions Held 2/20-2/22

The Apollo Civic Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming production of 'Steel Magnolias'. Auditions will be held from February 20 to 22, 2010.

Audition Times

Saturday, February 20 from 2 pm to 5 pm
Sunday, February 21 from 4 pm to 7 pm
Monday, February 22 from 7 pm to 9 pm

The following Roles are available for 6 women ages 18 and up:
- Truvy Jones (Female, late 30s-early 40s) The wise-cracking owner of the beauty shop.
- Annelle Dupuy-Desoto (Female, early 20s) Truvy's simple, yet enigmatic, assistant.
- Clairee Belcher (Female, mid 50s-early 60s) Widow of the former mayor, a wealthy Grande Dame.
- Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie (Female, mid 20s) "The prettiest girl in town".
- M'Lynn Eatenton (Female, late 40s-early 50s) Shelby's mother, a socially prominent career woman.
- Ouiser ("Weezer") Boudreaux (Female, mid 50-early 60s) A wealthy curmudgeon. Acerbic but loveable.

The Apollo Theatre is located at 128 East Martin Street, Martinsburg, West Virginia.
