Set in 1928 Berlin, a series of eclectic guests and staff including a fading ballerina, a destitute baron, a wannabe-starlet typist and an ailing bookkeeper collide at the bustling Grand Hotel. Grand Hotel the Musical runs from April 2, 2019 - May 19, 2019 in Signature Theatre's intimate MAX Theatre.

For choreographer Kelly Crandall d'Amboise, it is her job to provide that motion as the production begins performances this week at Signature Theatre.

Written by British playwright Jessica Swale (Blue Stockings), Nell Gwynn was commissioned by Shakespeare's Globe where it premiered, followed by a celebrated 2016 run on the West End that earned an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy. Robert Richmond (Macbeth, Timon of Athens, Henry V at the Folger) will direct the East Coast premiere of the play at Folger Theatre in Washington, D.C.

(11/19/2018) - Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault announced that acclaimed Washington actor Craig Wallace will return to Ford's to perform the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for the company's holiday production of A Christmas Carol. Performances of the classic Charles Dickens story begin November 15 and continue for a six-and-a-half-week engagement through December 30, 2018. This 'musically high-spirited' and 'infectiously jolly' (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson and directed by Michael Baron.

With our customary fidelity to the text, immersive staging, high-energy tone-shifting performances, and custom cocktail pairings, join us as we explore Poe's lonesome paranoia, Stoker's deadly seductive hunt, and Shelley's arrogant despair in this unique theatrical event. The productions contain some scary content, but are appropriate for all ages. Each ticket includes a custom drink for our 21+ guests. Running time for each show is approximately an hour. The Horror Rep runs from October 18th to November 10th at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.
