THE SHOW!

• In 1912, the RMS Titanic sailed into history, first as the largest floating vessel in the world, then as the ultimate symbol of tragedy during man's continuing struggle to improve the world. 
• In 1997, it sailed into Broadway history, first making headlines for NOT sinking at the first public performance, but then capturing the hearts and minds of theatre fans the world over, winning 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book (by the legendary Peter Stone–1776 , The Will Rogers Follies) and Best Score (music and lyrics by Maury Yeston–Nine and Grand Hotel).  (This production is NOT based on the film, Titanic, but rather on the actual people who met their fate in the North Atlantic that cold April night.)
• And now, in 2007, it makes local theatre history with a lavish production,  in the round, no less, at Toby's Dinner Theatre of Columbia.  And yes, the ship actually sinks!

THE DETAILS!

Titanic: The Musical features:
