As part of their 25th Anniversary celebration, Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced that they will be inviting some of the world's most renowned classical actors to talk about their craft and how the art of classical theatre has contributed to their career.

On October 18, 2011 stage and screen actor Patrick Stewart will be joining STC's Artistic Director Michael Kahn for the first installment of  STC's "Classic Conversations".  The series will begin at 8:00 pm at Sidney Harman Hall.  The discussion will include Patrick Stewart's body of classical work, as well as Kahn's impressive 25 years at the helm of the nation's foremost Shakespeare company.

His many other appearances for the RSC include Hamlet, The Tempest and Antony and Cleopatra both in Stratford and at the Novello Theatre. His other London theatre credits include Waiting for Godot opposite Ian McKellen, A Life in The Theatre and The Masterbuilder and in New York his credits include Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, The Ride Down Mount Morgan and The Tempest. Stewart performed his acclaimed, award winning one-man show, A Christmas Carol, both in the West End and on Broadway.
