Berry, Cirque Mechanic, et al. Join Strathmore's 2010-2011 Season

North Bethesda, Maryland's Strathmore has announced several new events for its 2010-2011 season.

THE SEASONS PROJECT will be presented on November 14.  The Venice Baroque Orchestra will perform  Philip Glass's violin concerto 'The American Four Seasons' with soloist Robert McDuffie, as well as Antonio Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons.'

On March 8, 2011, Strathmore will present CIRQUE MECHANIC'S BOOM TOWN.  Cirque Mechanic's acrobats will perform a comedic show set in an 1865 mining town.

Other new events in Strathmore's season include performances by guitarist Chuck Berry (October 22 and 30), singer Ledisi, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.  For full details and a complete listing of events, visit www.strathmore.org.  Tickets for these events will go on sale July 26.
