BST Announces Remount of THE BLOODY BANQUET

By:

Brave Spirits Theater, the Washington DC Metropolitan area's premiere producer of little-known early modern plays, is proud to announce an encore production of its highly acclaimed Fringe production of Thomas Middleton's The Bloody Banquet, returning to the Anacostia Arts Center August 20th through 22nd.

The Washington Post praised the production, saying "for nearly four centuries, the theater world has been overlooking a crowd-pleaser, to judge by Brave Spirits Theatre's diverting take on the revenge tragedy 'The Bloody Banquet.'" Audiences were similarly delighted, calling the production "stellar," "gloriously violent," "Sexy & disturbing & funny & gross," and "one of the best Fringe shows I've ever seen."

The encore performance will take place at the Anacostia Arts Center at 1231 Good Hope Road SE, District of Columbia, on August 20th through the 22nd. Performances begin at 8pm every day, with an additional 3pm matinee on the 22nd.

Tickets are $20, and there will be a $5 discount for patrons wearing their Capital Fringe 2015 Buttons. Tickets can be bought at the door or at bravespiritstheatre.com.
