Town Hall Theater to Broadcast THIS AMERICAN LIFE, 5/10

WBEZ Chicago's hit radio show This American Life comes to the big screen in a live broadcast at Middlebury's Town Hall Theater on Thursday, May 10 at 8:00 pm.

Host Ira Glass and popular contributors present complex and touching stories, plus music, dance, video and more.

Tickets, $12, are available by calling 802-382-9222, at www.townhalltheater.org, or at the box office Monday-Saturday, noon – 5:00 pm.

This American Life is distributed by Public Radio International on PRI affiliate stations and is also available as a free weekly podcast. Primarily a journalistic non-fiction program, it has also featured essays, memoirs, field recordings, short fiction, and found footage. The first episode aired on November 17, 1995, under the show's original title, Your Radio Playhouse.

A television program of the same name and basic structure of the radio program airs on the Showtime cable network, and features Ira Glass as the host and executive producer.
