STAGE TUBE: Behind the Scenes at Vermont Stage Company's ART
By: Stage Tube
ART, written by Yasmina Reza, is directed by Tara Lee Downs from the translation by Christopher Hampton for Vermont Stage Company, playing October 9-27, 2013 at FlynnSpace. Click below to go behind the scenes with the cast and creative team! Three old friends square off over the purchase of an expensive white-on-white painting. Their differing opinions about what constitutes "art" leads to a riotously funny battle of wills that pokes fun at modern intellectual life and tests their friendship - ultimately affirming the power of what binds them together. Vermont Stage first produced this Tony-winning comedy in 2001 and revives it now in celebration of its 20th Anniversary. For more about the show, click HERE.
