byMoonlight Theatre Presents THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, July 8-15
By: Kelsey Denette
With The Taming of the Shrew, byMoonlight Theatre aims to "amplify Shakespeare’s language through movement, mime and music, bringing an exciting slant to a well-known classic. This new staging will tickle the audience as they see their beloved characters in a setting that is recognizable, hilarious and full of lunacy. Whilst staying truthful and honourable to the original text, the contemporary setting adds a new sexual resonance to the play, showing that Shakespeare’s work is truly timeless."
Tickets: £5 - £15.
Book: Via phone 08444 821 556.
Online www.iyafestival.org.uk or www.rosetheatrekingston.org.
Or in person at the Rose Theatre, Kingston.
