The Cosmic Shambles Announce the Return of NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS FOR GODLESS PEOPLE
Due to huge popular demand, The Cosmic Shambles Network are proud to present the highly anticipated return of Robin Ince's legendary Christmas Variety shows, Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People.
Since springing to life over a decade ago, these unconventional festive nights have become a thing of legend in the UK. Following a few years' hiatus, the wonderfully eclectic shows are now back for anyone keen to find an alternative to the seasonal round of Carols, Cribs and Christmas Pudding.
Join Robin for four great nights of variety as he presents a heady mix of science, comedy, music and the usual shambles, live at London's iconic Conway Hall, in the heart of the City. Hopefully, you will leave with a song in your heart (technically, it won't be your heart. If it is your heart, that might be evidence of a murmur) and a reading list in your pocket.
Robin Ince is a multiple award winning comedian best known for co-hosting the international smash hit, Rose D'Or and Sony Award winning BBC Radio 4 and podcast series, The Infinite Monkey Cage, with Professor Brian Cox.
He has been the curator and host of some of the most acclaimed live science shows and tours in the UK including Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People, Uncaged Monkeys and Brian and Robin's Christmas Compendium of Reason.
Regarded as one of the most important and significant popularisers of science and rationalism in the UK (and the world) Robin was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science by the Royal Holloway University of London in 2013. Along with the team at Trunkman Productions he co-created The Incomplete Map of the Cosmic Genome, and The Cosmic Shambles Network's kid's science-comedy web series The Quest For Wonder in which he also starred with Brian Cox.
He also currently hosts the acclaimed Book Shambles podcast with Josie Long.
He has just finished a world record setting arena tour with Professor Brian Cox and is about to embark on his first solo stand up tour in three years.
