Photo Flash: First Look at South Staffs' TOP HAT
Ahead of opening night tonight, South Staffs Musical Theatre Company have released production images of the classic Hollywood dance musical TOP HAT, which runs at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre until Saturday 13 October.
The production stars Harry Simkin, aged 17 from Great Wyrley as Jerry Travers and Fiona Winning, aged 16, from Tettenhall as Dale Tremont. The production also features Roger Stokes as Horrace Hardwick, Nikki Rai as Madge Hardwick, Dom Napier as Alberto Beddini and John Wiley as Bates. The cast is completed by a talented cast of local performers.
South Staffs Musical Theatre Company's production of TOP HAT brings the glamour of Hollywood's golden age and the glorious, tap-dancing magic of Fred Astaire's and Ginger Rogers' world-famous dance partnership to the stage. This 2011 musical based on the 1935 film of the same name, tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale Tremont.
