One of the world's most distinctive singing voices, Michael McDonald, five-time Grammy Award winner and formerly of The Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan and a member of supergroup the Dukes of September - is proud to announce his first UK solo shows in eight years with three dates in March 2018 - which takes in Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on March 15th.

Tickets go on sale: 9.00am - Friday 10th November.

Michael McDonald, who tours extensively as a solo artist in the US, recently released his first new album 'Wide Open' in nine years, and his first set of original material in 17 years. The album finds him collaborating with a number of special guests including saxophonist Branford Marsalis, guitarist-singer Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule), guitarist Robben Ford, bassist Marcus Miller, Amy Holland and David Paich, to name a few...

Earlier this year, Michael McDonald performed a duet with Solange Knowles at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. He also sung with Kenny Loggins on the track "Show You the Way" on singer-producer Thundercat's "Drunk" album, and also performed the song, as a surprise guest with Thundercat at Coachella.
