Arcola's Artistic Director, Mehmet Ergen said "Arcola's Studio 2 is our powerhouse of new writing, telling new stories, exploring new frontiers. SITTING and HOARD are two debut plays from familiar and outstanding talents. These shows mark our first collaboration with the BBC and Avalon. We're thrilled to be working with Katherine Parkinson to bring her wonderful play Sitting to London whilst Bim Adewunmi's Hoard continues Arcola's commitment to British Nigerian stories. Hoard is directed by Femi Elufowoji jr (Winner of the Off West End Award for Best Director for The Secret Lives of Baba Segi's Wives) and Jack Gamble returns to remount Sitting after his much acclaimed production of The Daughter-in-Law. Al Smith's one-man play RADIO, directed by JMK Award-winner Josh Roche, commemorates 50 years since the moon landings; we're delighted to host Audible for this production."
