Get ready! Crab Mentality is coming back to Toronto as a newly-revamped production with a talented new team (and some familiar faces)!
ABOUT THE PLAY: Five strangers find themselves on an unusual island with no memory of themselves or each other. With no purpose and no plans, they find purpose in a seemingly insignificant crab. Things quickly spiral out of control as their devotion to Crab grows to cult worship. Crab Mentality is a new dark comedy that explores how belief systems develop and evolve around the individuals who create them.
Join us between April 28th - 30th for what the Varsity describes as a "fast-paced play that sucks the audience into its tumultuous world".
DETAILS: The approximate runtime is 75 minutes without an intermission. This show contains mature content and is not suitable for patrons under the age of 16. Detailed content warnings can be found in the FAQ section.
This production is in partnership with the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto as the 2023 CDTPS Alumni Performance Project. This Alumni Project is an exciting and privileged platform to develop and present innovative theatre performances targeted at recent alumni who want to establish careers in the professional theatre world.
