ZERO HOUR Starring Jim Brochu to Open at Bathurst St. Theatre, 2/8

By:

Toronto welcomes back the multi-award-winning production Zero Hour starring writer Jim Brochu and directed by multi-Oscar-nominated actress Piper Laurie.

Recently, Jim Brochu's caricature was hung on the wall of Sardi's Restaurant in New York City, a singular tribute to a thirty-year show business career as an actor, writer, director and producer.

Watch Jim Brochu as he brings American theatre legend Zero Mostel back to life in his hilarious and moving portrayal of the larger than life personality.

The iconic Zero Mostel, known for his appearances in shows such as Fiddler on the Roof, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum and Mel Brook's film The Producers, also found himself a target of Hollywood blacklisting. Zero Hour brilliantly recreates the story of a man full of humour and perseverance despite having to overcome numerous obstacles throughout his lifetime.

The show has a preview on February 8 before it opens February 9 with After-Show Champagne Reception and runs to March 11, 2012. It runs at the Bathurst St. Theatre, 736 Bathurst St. (south of Bloor St. W.)

Performance times: Wed at 7pm; Thurs and Fri at 8pm; Sat at 2pm and 8pm; Sun at 3pm.
Ticket prices (includes HST): Wed & Thurs - $59; Fri, Sat & Sun - $59 & $69.50.

For tickets, call Ticketmaster.ca at 1-855-985-ARTS (2787) or purchase online at www.ZeroHourShow.com
