What's Broadway's Stephanie Rothenberg Doing in Stratford? Playing Maria!

Broadway's Stephanie Rothenberg, of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (starring Daniel Radcliffe, and later - Nick Jonas) fame will play Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at the Stratford Festival next season.

The casting rumour was announced earlier this week in The Toronto Star - but a Stratford Festival publicist told BroadwayWorld they were "not able to confirm any casting at this point."

Earlier today, Rothenberg tweeted from Stratford, Ontatrio - and I think it's safe to say this confirms her casting in the upcoming season. See the tweet below!

Update: Stratford Festival staff have confirmed this casting news to BroadwayWorld. Further casting news for the 2015 season can be expected soon.
