Soundstreams Presents FREDDY'S TUNE, 4/21
By: A.A. Cristi
![]()
In 1747 Bach's visited his patron King Frederick the Great. King Freddy, a talented amateur musician handed Bach a theme and challenged him to improvise. That became the basis for Bach's magnum opus The Musical Offering.
The Gryphon Trio join forces with DJ SlowPitchSound, drummer Dafnis Prieto, trombonist/composer Scott Good, and bassist extraordinaire Roberto Occhipinti, to create a contemporary, cross-genre Musical Offering. From the world premiere of a Bach remix, to an arrangement of John Adams' dazzling Phrygian Gates, expect an energetic evening inspired by Bach's timeless brilliance.Freddy's Tune
