Green Day's American Idiot at Studio Theater in the Simi Valley Town Center

Backyard Playhouse presents its Treetop Production of Green Day's American Idiot, taking a unique visual approach with original video, animation, and multimedia elements incorporated into the live performance. The production is directed by four-time Emmy Award winner and Peabody Award winner Steve Loter, known for directing and producing animated Disney projects including Kim Possible, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast, and Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. This marks Steve's first time directing a live musical, featuring original video work that interacts with performers and an entirely animated sequence created specifically for the production. The show features a cast of LA local artists.
