Lincoln Theater Celebrates Spring With Diverse Arts In April Programs ImageLincoln Theater celebrates the 6th annual Arts in April with a packed program of exciting events that reflect the richness and diversity of our community. From Beethoven and Ranchera singers to eurythmy dance and the premiere of a film about a legendary Napa Valley wine maker, this spring line up offers something for everyone to enjoy.

André - The Voice of Wine (Saturday, April 7, 2018 @ 3:00 PM)

André Tchelistcheff, the "Dean of American Winemaking," was one of the most remarkable men of the twentieth century. André - The Voice of Wine takes us on a cinematic journey from Russia through Europe to America as we explore the story of the legendary winemaker.

Movie Screening will be followed by Q&A with Director, Mark Tchelistcheff. Tickets $20/$25 at the door for regular admission and $95 for a wine tasting reception and meet-and-greet.

Symphony Napa Valley: Beethoven Extravaganza (Saturday, April 14, 2018 @ 5:00 PM)

Over 200 musicians return to the Lincoln Theater stage for a rare performance of Beethoven's two most unusual and innovative works, the famed Triple Concerto and Choral Fantasy. Maestro Michael Guttman and Symphony Napa Valley will be joined by cellist Jing Zhao, pianist Nikolay Khozyainov, and the combined voices of Sing Napa Valley, St. Helena Chamber Singers, and Napa Valley College Chorale under the direction of Ragnar Bohlin. Tickets are $49 and children attend free.

Yolanda Del Rio & Beatriz Adriana (Friday, April 20, 2018 @ 8:00 PM)

Two world-renowned Ranchera singers perform together for the first time in the Napa Valley. Grammy winner Yolanda Del Rio and Mrs. Beatriz Adriana are among the most successful Ranchera singers in the world, and they will take the stage together in a rare performance of this powerful music. Tickets are $45, $50, $70, $85, and $100.

Sol-ETUDES, A Eurythmy Recital (Friday, April 27, 2018 @ 7:00 PM)

This performance features musicality paired with eurythmy, an art of movement choreographed from the score. Coming straight from its debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City , Sol-Etudes is a recital that reinvents the dynamics of a classical Trio. From Brahms to Auerbach, Piazzolla to Wiprud and Stanhope, a juxtaposition of romantic and contemporary solos, duos, and trios also features a world premiere by cellist and composer Georgy Gusev. Tickets are $25.

These performances will take place at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville. For tickets please contact the box office at 707-944-9900 or go to www.LincolnTheater.org. Tickets for children to attend some performances are free.

The beautiful grounds of the Veterans Home in Yountville are shared by Lincoln Theater and Pathway Home, site of the tragic shooting on March 9 of three incredible women who devoted their lives to our veterans. As the community comes together to heal and rebuild, the arts will be a critical part of that effort. Justin Sienna students, who were rehearsing at the theater on that day, have been working harder than ever to bring their performance of "Guys and Dolls" to the stage. We hope you will support these talented kids by coming to see their wonderful production the weekend of March 23-25. Lincoln Theater is also offering a range of performances for Arts in April that celebrate the beauty, strength and resilience of our community.
