Romance! Adventure! Gershwin! Who could ask for anything more? Filled with the music of legendary composers George and Ira Gershwin, the Tony Award-winning masterpiece, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, is dancing its way to a city near you. The 2020 tour, produced by Big League Productions, Inc., launches in Yakima, WA on January 11, and will travel to more than 80 cities across the USA.

The Brooklyn-based and highly-regarded Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation will be contributing to several major Black History Month Celebrations throughout the Tri-State area this month, highlighted by the return of 'The HBCU SHOW,' an original play which will be a featured as part of the 'Onstage @ the Weeksville Series' February13 -15, 2019 at the Weeksville Heritage Center in Brooklyn. Written by Kofi Osei Williams, Executive Director of Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation, 'The HBCU Show' follows six adolescents from Brooklyn, NY, growing up with adversities and trying to live up to the society around them and recounts their personal stories of participating in a Historically Black College & University Tour.

Overture Offers Kennedy Center Seminar with UWW and Monona Terrace

The Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education Program Announces 14 New Partnership Teams

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today selected 14 teams of arts organizations and school systems from across the nation to participate in the Partners in Education Institute, May 5-8, 2010 at the Kennedy Center. The Institute, funded by the U.S. Department of Education; the National Committee for the Performing Arts; and the Kennedy Center Corporate Fund, promotes partnerships in communities across the country between arts organizations and local school districts, focusing on the development of arts education programs for teachers.
