Drop in Revenue Leads to Significant Layoffs at TO Live

The uncertainty caused by COVID-19 and an 85% drop in revenue has led TO Live to make the decision to layoff an additional 32 people bringing the total to 115 full time staff being laid off. This is in addition to the 480 unionized, part-time and casual staff who were already laid off or placed on Emergency Temporary Leave.

FFDN will showcase a striking line-up of 12 works from 11 of the world's most innovative dance artists across three thematic mainstage programs a?' including a special focus on international Indigenous artists at Ryerson Theatre. 'An Evening with Tycho Celebrating The Release of WEATHER' was announced just 24 hours prior to the Tuesday, July 16 event, with all tickets to the intimate performance at San Francisco's The Independent selling out within minutes. Tycho lit up the packed house with two unique sets: the first spanning their acclaimed five-album canon, the second dedicated to a complete live performance of WEATHER, featuring the official concert debut of vocalist Saint Sinner (a.k.a. Hannah Cottrell).
