Drop in Revenue Leads to Significant Layoffs at TO Live

The uncertainty caused by COVID-19 and an 85% drop in revenue has led TO Live to make the decision to layoff an additional 32 people bringing the total to 115 full time staff being laid off. This is in addition to the 480 unionized, part-time and casual staff who were already laid off or placed on Emergency Temporary Leave.

Toronto's premier international dance festival Fall for Dance North (FFDN) is thrilled to present the momentous fifth anniversary edition, October 2a?'6, 2019, at co-presenter TO Live's MERIDIAN HALL (formerly the Sony Centre), Ryerson Theatre in partnership with the Ryerson School of Performance, and Union Station. FFDN will showcase a striking line-up of 12 works from 11 of the world's most innovative dance artists across three thematic mainstage programs a?' including a special focus on international Indigenous artists at Ryerson Theatre.
