Damn The Light Pays Tribute to Donna Summer & Stevie Nicks at The Cutting Room Tonight

Damn The Light Productions Presents: ICONATHON: Showcase Series Donna Summer & Stevie Nicks Tributes at The Cutting Room. The night will open with a rock radio hits tribute, "The is How We Duet" featuring students selected to participate in DTL's Pop/ Rock performance lab from Marymount Manhattan College's Theatre Arts program. The spring intensive course was funded by The Lerner and Lowe Foundation. It will also feature special guest performances by Shannon Conley (Broadway's Hedwig and The Angry Inch) and Matt- Katz Bohen (Blondie).

On October 4, 2009 alumni from Marymount Manhattan College (MMC) will take the stage of The Theresa Lang Theatre to honor Professor Emeritus J. William Bordeau, who passed away on July 25. The MMC community will be celebrating Professor Bordeau's life with a memorial from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the College, 221 East 71st Street in New York City. The celebration of Bordeau's life will also be broadcast LIVE on the Web at www.mmm.edu. A cocktail reception will follow from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in The Great Hall at the College.

Theresa Lange Theatre Celebrates 30th with Into the Woods March 11

Marymount Manhattan Theatre Arts Department (Judson R. Shaver, Ph.D, President) ) to celebrate its 30th Anniversary of the Theresa Lang Theatre with the Theatre Production Workshop presentation of the Sondheim and Lapine musical Into the Woods directed by Michael Montel, followed by a champagne reception and live auction. The benefit will take place on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 7:30PM in the Theresa Lang Theatre (221 East 71st Street).
