Buckcherry Announces Leg Two of Warpaint Tour

Continuing the support of the release of Warpaintand their first single 'Bent', Buckcherry announces today the dates for leg two of their North American tour. The tour starts on May 18th in Waco, TX and runs through August 15th in Kansas City. On top of touring all major markets in the U.S., the band will visit ten Eastern Canadian cities on this run. Joyous Wolf, who supported Buckcherry on leg one, will continue to support the band on most of the leg two dates in support of their debut release on Roadrunner Records. Buckcherry will also open for Aerosmith in Shakopee, MN and be direct support for Nickelback for two shows in Ravinia, IL.

Zach Wyatt will star as Anthony alongside previously announced Maisie Williams as Caroline in the UK premiere of Lauren Gunderson's I and You, which will be directed by Artistic Director Edward Hall on the Main Stage. Richard Molloy's Every Day I Make Greatness Happen, winner of the Nick Darke Award in 2017, will receive its world premiere Downstairs in September, and will star Sofia Barclay, Moe Bar-El, Jon Foster, Susan Stanley and Josh Zare.
Theatricum Presents First-Ever Revival of HAITI

Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum presents the first-ever revival of a historical melodrama about the Haitian revolution that graced the stage at New York's Lafayette Theatre in Harlem in 1938 as part of the Federal Theatre Project. Haiti by William DuBois will join Theatricum's summer repertory season beginning July 28. Performances will continue at Theatricum's beautiful outdoor venue in Topanga through Sept. 29.

Woodie King's National Black Touring Circuit's 2015 Black History Month Play Series will feature "Adam," the story of legendary Congressman Adam Clayton Powell, and a reading of Ossie Davis' seminal play "The People of Clarendon County" from February 8 - 22 in Harlem, Queens and the Bronx. Woodie King Jr's New Federal Theatre kicks off its 44th season with 'The Ed Bullins Project' - two revivals from his 'Twentieth Century Cycle of Plays' - In The Wine Time and The Fabulous Miss Marie. Bullins, winner of the prestigious NY Drama Critics' Circle Award and OBIE Award for The Taking of Miss Janie, has greatly influenced American theatre, especially Black theatre. His work, characterized by disdain for ineffective political rhetoric as a substitute for action, most often examines the lives of Black people in the inner city. In 1968, Clive Barnes, writing in the New York Times called Bullins 'a welcome addition to the ranks of New York playwrights.' Four years later, Barnes added 'Bullins writes the way Charlie Parker played: It is all so easy and effortless. It sounds improvised, and yet it doesn't sound improvised, simply because it is the improvisation of formality.' Today, Bullins is regarded as a seminal force in the American theater.
