Turning even the most mundane situations into side-splitting stand-up material, comedian Brian Regan makes his Sarasota debut at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Saturday, April 23rd at 8:00pm. A true workhorse who has spent 25 years touring and fine-tuning his act, Regan has become an enormous success for being a stand-up comic without ever branching off into movies or sitcoms. To this day, the Miami native visits around 100 cities a year, selling out some of the most beautiful venues on the continent.

Tampa Shakespeare Festival will be launching their second season on Thursday, March 17th at Waterworks Park in downtown Tampa with William Shakespeare's Richard III and Much Ado About Nothing playing in repertory on alternating nights. The festival will run from Thursday, March 17th until Sunday, April 3rd. Performances will begin at 6pm Thursdays through Saturdays and at 2pm on Sundays. Admission is free to the general public.
