freeFall Theatre will present Larry Kramer's political drama THE NORMAL HEART running January 25 through February 16 starring Eric Davis, Jim Sorensen, Larry Alexander and Roxanne Fay. Award-winning acting teacher and director Larry Silverberg will be directing. Silverberg recently directed BECKY SHAW at freeFall and has brought his True Acting Institute to freeFall's own campus in a series of popular workshops.

"Our mission is to present productions that are daring, unexpected and authentic.," says freeFall Outreach Director Matthew McGee. "We felt that Larry's background and experience would make him the best choice to direct this fiery and moving human drama."

Mr. Silverberg is one of the most widely published actor / acting teachers in the world today and he is considered one of the foremost authorities on the Sanford Meisner Technique. Larry is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre where he studied with legendary acting teacher, Sanford Meisner. Since then, Larry has worked professionally as an actor and director across the United States and in Canada, including winning the Seattle Critic's Association "Stellar Acting Award" for his portrayal of "Teach" in the Belltown Theatre Center production of "American Buffalo".

Ticket prices range from $16 to $44 plus ticketing fee (waived for members). Contact Matthew at 727-498-5205 (X 7) for information on group rates and show availability. The theatre is located at 6099 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg.
