Carrollwood Players to Offer Summer Comedy Theater Camp, June-July 2013

Carrollwood Players announces its Summer Comedy Theater Camp, running June 17 - 28 and July 8 - 19, 2013.

Come join us for the Carrollwood Players Summer Comedy Theatre Camp for ages 10-18. We have teamed with local improv troupe, Nine and Numb, to offer a summer full of laughs. We will focus on character building, improvisational technique, scene work, and writing for comedy. At the end of each session, we will present a showcase on the Carrollwood Players stage.

Dates: Monday - Friday; Day camp 8:00 am -2:30 pm
Session 1: June 17th -28th (Max. 25 campers)
Session 2: July 8th- 19th (Max. 25 campers)

Camper Fees: $300.00 total for each camper per session

Optional After-Care for parents: 2:30pm -5:00pm. Cost: $50.00 weekly (or $10.00 a day)

Since 1981, Carrollwood Players, Tampa's oldest community theatre company, has provided quality entertainment for the Tampa Bay area. In addition to special events, Carrollwood Players produces nine plays as part of their main stage season: dramas, bedroom farces, mysteries and much more. Season productions typically run for four weekends. Tickets start at $18 and customers can reserve the seats online; season tickets are also available.
