All Star Cast in Impromptu Player's Production oF STEEL MAGNOLIAS, 6/4

The Impromptu Players will present a Staged Reading of STEEL MAGNOLIAS on Friday, June 4 2010.
Revolving around Truvy's Beauty Parlor in a small parish in modern-day Louisiana, STEEL MAGNOLIAS by Robert Harling, is the story of a close-knit circle of friends whose lives come together there. Filled with humor and heartbreak, these "Steel Magnolias" make us laugh and cry as the realities of their lives in tiny Chiquapin Parish unfolds.

The Impromptu Players Presents a Staged Reading of this beloved play to benefit Stageworks Outreach Program, which serves the at-risk youth of Hillsborough County.

The impressive cast includes Cathy Unruh, host of WEDU-TV's "Up Close with Cathy Unruh" and former Fox 13 reporter. Kathy Fountain, former Fox 13 news anchor. Shawna Vercher, President at The Society of Successful Women and CEO at VTi-Media. Janet Frenkel, Founder and Executive Director of Take 2 The Stage, as well as accomplished actor and director. Susan O'Gara educator and award winning actress. Megan Lamasney, Stage Manager and Stageworks Administrative assistant . These women will entertain you and bring to life the six incredible STEEL MAGNOLIAS.

The performance will be directed by Midge Mamatas and produced by Andrea Graham. STEEL MAGNOLIAS will be performed at Friday Morning Musicale, 809 W. Horatio Street in Tampa 33606
The performance will being at 8:00pm with $25 general seating; $35 preferred seating; and $250 ($25 each) for a block of 10 in preferred seating.
